Université La Sagesse concludes the Spring Semester of the SE.TC course

As part of the SE.TC Project – Social Entrepreneurship in Times of Crises, Université La Sagesse (ULS) successfully delivered the SE.TC course during the Spring 2026 semester.

The course offered 18 students the opportunity to explore how entrepreneurial thinking can generate sustainable social impact, particularly in challenging and crisis-affected contexts such as Lebanon. Through the training, students examined the role of social entrepreneurship as a powerful tool to respond to societal needs, promote innovation, and strengthen community resilience.

Throughout the semester, participants moved beyond theoretical learning and engaged with practical topics, including social venture creation, digital business models, financial sustainability, innovation and resilience, and the legal and operational frameworks for social enterprises.

One of the key outcomes of the course was the development of student-led ideas and initiatives aimed at addressing real societal challenges. By transforming concepts into meaningful social entrepreneurship proposals, students demonstrated creativity, commitment, and a strong sense of responsibility towards their communities.

At the end of the course, participating students received a Certificate of Completion in recognition of their participation in the SE.TC learning experience.

The course benefited from the contribution of the instructor, Ghassan Eid, whose expertise and dedication supported students throughout the learning process. This achievement also reflects the commitment of the SE.TC partners and the Université La Sagesse community to fostering innovation, entrepreneurship, and impact-driven education.

Through this initiative, the SE.TC project continues to support young people in developing the skills, knowledge, and mindset needed to drive positive change and contribute to more resilient and inclusive societies.
